Neckties are one of the most relevant garments in men’s fashion. Whether it is formal, semi-formal, or casual attire, wearing a necktie is a fundamental clothing act. When we’re attending formal or semi formal occasions, it definitely pays to be very classy and yes, orthodox. Black, dark blue, and purple neckties are the best. We should choose neckties that are solid in color, or if we want to be a little bit edgy, go for printed neckties in some detailed, but surely not flashy pattern.

Because fashion tolerates some sense of freedom and new trends, in terms of daily business corporate attire, or party attire, there are actually no rules in selecting necktie colors, but it is highly recommended to choose neckties made in nice fabrics. On top of these fabrics, of course, is silk.  Before we go to the counter, make sure that we try knotting the necktie first, and check whether the fabric has the tendency to crimple or something. While good taste in blending colors can be learned eventually, the habit of choosing poor materials for neckties should be stopped urgently.
